I've been working on designing my website for a while now and it just happened that it went live today :)

The blog is now integrated into the web site and all of the posts from here have been imported into the new blog.

Blogspot has been great but I wanted more options and integration with my website so you can find everything in one place!

So please change all your bookmarks and URLs. Hopefully, if you are subscribed, the links will automagically change but if not, you can re-subscribe at the new site.

Interview with NBC Action News

Last Friday, Kansas City's Action News ran a news story about the latest trend in wedding photography and videography: Trash the Dress.

However, this story was a syndication from California when there are uber-talented photographers (and videographers ;) right here in Kansas City who are already offering Trash the Dress sessions.

Well, the Executive Producer of NBC Action News, Jeff Field, got in touch with me for an interview regarding this latest phenomenon.

Back from Down Under

After 35 hours of traveling from Christchurch, New Zealand back to good old Kansas City, Mary and I are back safely after an awesome time!

New Zealand is an excellent place to vacation during this time of year, especially after coming back to 90 degree humid weather!

After almost three weeks of almost no contact with the outside world, there is a lot of catching up to do! A lot has happened while we've been gone and a lot more is still happening.

First, a special congratulations are in order for Heather Cole, who was featured in a New York Times article with images from her Trash the Dress session which we had collaborated on. (Video from the TTD session with Heather) Coincidentally, the NY Times article was published on our one year anniversary date! How cool is that? :)

In other media news, TTD has been featured on Entertainment Tonight's "The Insider" as well as on ABC's "Good Morning America."

Jason Domingues, another fantastic KC photographer, has his Trash the Dress photos on Good Morning America's slideshow. (For more of Jason's TTD pics, click here)

Trashing the Dress is gaining popularity in the Kansas City area as another photographer, Kelley Walker-Chance, most well-known for her Coquettes, has recently done her first TTD session as well, which, as usual, ended up looking amazing!

Off to New Zealand We Go!

We will be ~~out of the office~~ out of the country until June 18th.

Mary and I will be in New Zealand on our honeymoon / celebrating our one year anniversary.

I will not have phone access nor will I be able to check my voicemail so the best way to get in contact with me will be through email. I will check my email periodically when I can but we will mostly be enjoying the beautiful scenery and fresh air of New Zealand.

An Atypical Wedding Videographer: Ron Dawson

On a positive note, Ron Dawson of Cinematic Studios was featured in the NorthBay biz magazine, a regional magazine that covers business news in the Marin, Sonoma, and Napa county areas in Northern California.

Ron is a great friend and source of inspiration for me. He has taken great strides in debunking the notion of the typical wedding video: "shot like a home movie and lasting about two hours, detailing every (let’s face it) boring detail of the day and only appreciated by the bride and groom (but that every friend and family member is obligated to sit through while trying not to yawn)."

"One reason people don’t get wedding videos is because all the ones they’ve seen are bad—they’re either cheesy, long and boring or they look bad."

"Whereas most wedding videos were 90 minutes to two hours—something you’d probably fast-forward through most of the time—I made wedding videos that tended to be closer to a half-hour, condensed the day and felt more like a movie.”

Ron has changed many a bride's perspective on wedding video. Kairos Moment Wedding Films is continuing to do that, too.

Every human being wants to make an impact on others' lives. With every wedding film we produce, I am so thankful that we get to help couples relive the emotions of the day in ways that can't be recreated otherwise.

The Ultimate Groom's Cake!

Photographer Promo: Flashes Photography

Earlier last year, I created a promo piece for Roland at Banfii Photography to showcase him at work capturing awesome images during a typical wedding. He received a great response at the KC Weddings bridal show and some people even mistook him for a videographer ;-)

Anyways, last November, I was asked by Teri Lowery of Flashes Photography, a Kansas City wedding photographer, to come and film her as she documents a wedding. We had a great time working together and I look forward to working with her again. Teri has a lot of energy and enthusiasm and I wanted to convey that in this promo.

Quality Living

I was just emailed this story and it opened up my eyes to the meaning of becoming rich vs the quality of one's life.

A very successful business man was in Greece for an important business meeting. During the trip he had a couple of days free and he decided to go to one of the islands for some fun.

As he was enjoying a walk on the beach, he notices a Greek fisherman unloading a boatload of huge fish. He decides to approach the fisherman and starts up a conversation. He asks the fisherman what he does with the fish. The fisherman replies that he takes them to the market and sells them. The fisherman explains how he gets up every morning around six and goes fishing 'till noon or so and comes back and sells them.

So the business man asks him what he does with the rest of his day. The fisherman replies that after he sells the fish, he goes home and spends quality time with his kids and then takes a mid-afternoon nap and then at night he goes down to the square and hangs out with his friends.

So the successful business man decides to give the poor old fisherman some "business advice." He explains to the fisherman that if extends his fishing to 5 or 6 at night he could catch more fish.

"Then what?" asks the fisherman. The business man explains that after a year or so of hard work, he could buy more boats, hire more fishermen, and catch even more fish.

"Then what?" asks the fisherman. Feeling a little annoyed, the business man explains that he could then move his whole operation to Athens and corner the whole Greek fishing market.

"Then what?" asks the fisherman. Feeling even more annoyed the business man again explains to the poor old fisherman that after moving to Athens, he can think globally, where he opens offices all over the world, where eventually he would take his company public making millions off the shares he sells and retiring rich.

"Then what?" asks the fisherman. One last time the business man explains to the fisherman that he would be rich and that he could then move back to the island, spend quality time with his kids and take those mid-afternoon naps and at night he could go hang out with his friends.

So the fisherman is sitting there trying to comprehend everything and then he says, "Why would I go through all that trouble? It sounds to me like I'm already rich."

Wedding Highlights Video: Dan & Sharon

Sharon and Dan were married at the Valley Lo Country Club in Glenview, IL. They had originally planned for an outdoor wedding but due to the forecast for rain, the wedding was moved indoors.

Nevertheless, Sharon and Dan kept their spirits up and had a beautiful day! It didn't rain until later in the evening so we were blessed with some awesome photo opportunities outside!

Tiffany and Claude - Wedding Day Highlights

Tiffany knew from a young age of 7 years old where she was going to get married when she got older... in the garden of her backyard. She had the place picked out and has now found the person to share that dream with: Claude, her "Newton."

The day was perfect! The weather was perfect (the weatherman forecasted rain but as the day drew near, there wasn't the slightest rain)! All of the hard work and planning by Cassie (Tiffany's mom) were followed through without a hitch! And everyone knew Tiffany and Claude could not wait to get married!

This one was a blast to edit! Tiffany is so spunky and there was a lot of great audio to really capture her personality!

A little while ago, Kairos Moment Wedding Films was approached by Tim Schulte, an editor of Content That Works, a newspaper syndicate based in Chicago. He was putting together an article for their Bride's Guide publication on the use of iPods at weddings and was interested in our service offering.

With the latest iPods capable of playing video, we can port your wedding film to your video iPod or we can order one for both you and your spouse with custom engravings so that you can tote your wedding film anywhere and show all your friends without having to invite them all over to your place! How convenient, eh?

Anyways, Tim ended up giving us a call for an interview to learn more about our services and also used one of our photos in his article to show off our iPod! How cool is that?

According to their website, Content That Works has licensing agreements with more than 200 newspapers in the United States and Canada. Combined, these newspapers reach more than 12 million households so that should get us some exposure ;)

Sharon and Dan Yim's Wedding Film Trailer

Sharon and Dan had a beautiful wedding in Glenview, IL. Despite the forecast for rain, the weather was absolutely gorgeous and made for some awesome photo opportunities outside!

Of course, Kairos Moment Wedding Films was there to capture all of the action!

Sharon's father was very sad to give his daughter away but was very comforted to know that he was not losing a daughter but was gaining a son.

Tribute Video

Mary and I recently filmed the wedding of Teresa and Greg Stoffel.

Less than two months after their wedding, Teresa's family was notified by doctors that her father, James, was terminally ill and that it would be a long, drawn out process. They had Hospice come in but he suddenly passed away the next day.

Teresa let me know what was going on and was eager to receive her wedding film because it was the last time her father was photographed and filmed.

So we put together a tribute video in honor of Teresa's father with the footage we took on her wedding.

"Thanks Peter. My father's name was James Ira Moore. His birthday was December 2, 1935 and his date of passing was June 21, 2006. He dealt with diabetes for 40 years. He traveled a lot when I was a kid to make a better life for my sister and I. In later life, he and I became best friends and he was always my sounding board. He helped me make some important decisions in my life and I will be eternally grateful. I loved him very much. Thanks for taking time to do a great job." -Teresa

Here is the email Teresa sent me after she and Greg watched the video:

"Thank you doesn't seem like enough. Greg and I just watched the video and really appreciate your sensitivity and care in producing this.
We were very touched. That was beautiful... Thanks again!"

Rangefinder Magazine Foresees Shift to Videography Over Photography

John Rettie, a columnist at Rangefinder magazine, a very well-known magazine among photographers, wrote in the October 2006 issue, about the ever-increasing popularity of videography among young couples getting married.

Here is an excerpt from his column:

...I foresee a shift towards videography and away from still photography in coming years....
Essentially it boils down to customer expectations—what is it they want? Video is growing in popularity. It’s all over the internet, and even newspapers are now shooting video for use on their websites....

Gone are the days of boring, lightly edited documentary-style videos. Instead the leading wedding videographers are producing movie-style stories with dramatic editing and emotional images....
Videography is still more complicated than still photography, partly because sound has to be added to the dimension, and it requires a totally different mindset while shooting. However, as we move forward, young people are more interested in video than stills....
Bottom line—I predict that within 10 years, if not sooner, a majority of brides will hire only a videographer to cover their wedding, or at the very least prioritize spending money on a videographer first, with the still photographer being a secondary consideration.

Like Rettie, most brides don't realize the movie-style stories that Kairos Moment Wedding Films produces. Your wedding video doesn't have to be boring or dull. Getting ready for the big day. Watch as Richard leaves a special message just for Diane!

Wedding Ceremony

Diane and Richard had a beautiful ceremony! One nice surprise during the ceremony was that they had a bell ringer ushering in the bride by announcing to everyone that, "The bride is coming! The bride is coming!"

Thanks to our small, discreet microphones, we were able to capture the vows clearly as well as some intimate moments as Richard gets ready to kiss his bride!

Reception

Diane and Richard's reception was a great example of what nice lighting during the reception can do for the final wedding film!

Partly due to the fantastic lighting (but mostly due to the great love that Richard and Diane share ;), our cameras were able to pick up and show you just how in love these two really are!

For those of you who are considering turning the lights down during your reception, I urge you to reconsider as you watch this clip. The mood is equally intimate, special, and appealing, and looks even better on film!

Another thing to look for... during the bouquet toss, watch as the colors from the flowers "spill" all over the place! :)

Birthday Parties

As I mentioned before, Mary's birthday passed recently and I took some pictures.

Food plays an important role in our family. We LOVE food, especially GOOD FOOD!

Yummy appetizers by Ann. She twirled up a basil leaf into the olives!

Stuffed tomatoes. Something new. Something different. Something delicious!

Chinese style Korean BBQ ribs :)

You almost feel you shouldn't eat such a beautiful work of art... but food is much better in your stomach :)

I made some stuff, too. Below are pictures of my 7 layer dip. It was my first time making it and it was a hit!

Can you count all the layers?

There wasn't enough space on the table so we put it up on the counter ;)

I also baked a cheescake for my wife's birthday. Again, first time baking a cheesecake!

I think it turned out pretty good, if I don't say so myself ;)

Mmmmm... makes my mouth water just seeing the pics...

BTW, if you've never been to the City Market, check out what kinds of zuccini you can find there!!!

They are literally the size of a small child!

I would have never believed such a thing before I came to Kansas City!!!

Anyways, we also had some very special guests with us. Mary's uncle and aunt are missionaries in China and they were finally able to get some time off to come back and visit the States after a few years of not being able to come back. However, their daughter and her family (of four children with another one coming...) drove all the way from Colorado to surprise them!

Anyways, they are the cutest kids ever and the most well-behaved and fun kids :)

So we celebrated a lot of things (after Mary's birthday): Ann's birthday, which was almost a week after Mary's, Mary's grandparents mini-60th anniversary celebration (with the big one coming on Thanksgiving), and a reunion of grandparents, parents, and grandchildren!

Grandma Ju's famous dumplings! Everything is made from scratch including the skin. It's amazing watching Grandma Ju at work making the perfectly shaped dumplings.

For Mary's grandparents' mini- anniversary party, Mary baked a cake. She is the master baker in the family. Her cakes are light and delicious! You could eat the whole thing and not feel guilty about it! I am truly blessed! :)

Of course, the true test of a cake is how it fares with the kids. Here's what the kids had to say...

You can have your cake and eat it, too! But for Ann's birthday party, Ann wanted a blueberry pie!

And who better than Mary to bake her favorite sister a pie!

Here, we start with cute, little, innocent baby Elisha.

And here is her eating surface... who knew how messy babies are when eating! I guess the positive side is that she knows how to feed herself ;)

Apparently, Elisha got some food stuck in her nose and was trying to rub it out... with her fist!!! LOL

If you thought those pics were bad, that was only after dinner... dessert hadn't come out yet... Ann's blueberry pie...

Mmmm... that was finger-licking good... but Elisha wasn't done yet...

She didn't want to waste a drop of that pie! Who knew styrofoam bowl tasted so good?

Beatbox Proposal

We just recently celebrated Mary's first birthday as a married couple :) In commemoration of this wondrous event, here is a post of my beatbox proposal to Mary on December 21, 2006.

For those of you that don't know what beatboxing is or have never heard of it, beatboxing is emulating the sounds of a drum set with your mouth. But I have added a twist to it... I can beatbox a drum beat while singing or speaking words... AT THE SAME TIME!

Since most people I know cannot do this, I wrote a proposal poem for Mary and asked her to "Mary" me :)

Our beatbox proposal is excerpted from Our Love Story, which we showed our guests at our reception.

I'm really excited about this one!

We recently filmed the wedding of Richard and Diane Mahoney at the Lenexa Christian Center. Everyone was so fun to work with! You guys truly made editing this piece easy and worthwhile. I was so happy with how everything turned out.

This was also our first time using our new Smooth Flight™ Technology out in the field and we are very pleased with the results!

Great People + Great Technology = Great Wedding Films :)

Thank you to the Mahoney and Sims families for commissioning us to film your wedding day! You truly were a beautiful couple and made filming a joy for us. God bless you and your new lives together!

Some Good Rules to Live By

A friend sent me this poem and it is a good doctrine to live by in an increasingly pessimistic and self-preserving society. Despite the "facts of life," I choose to love others and give my best though there are those out there who may take advantage of it and though I may even end up getting hurt at times.

Inevitably, though, you meet people who also live by these ideals and the best and most rewarding friendships come out of such a lifestyle...

Free to live, free to love, free to be yourself, free to forgive those who wrong you, free from the expectations of others... this is true freedom!

What the Heck is RSS?

And why should I care?

Good questions. First, here’s why you should care.

Unlike getting website updates or ezines by email, RSS feeds give you absolute, 100% complete control over the situation.

You don’t have to reveal your email address. If you want to stop receiving content, you don’t have to request to be “taken off the list.”

One click, and poof… the subscription is gone.

Plus, since there’s no email address involved, there’s no way a publisher can sell, rent or give away the means to contact you.

That’s right… no more spam, viruses, phishing, or identity theft. And best of all, no reason to put yourself at the mercy of the publisher’s intentions.

You won’t need to suffer through the legalese in the privacy policy (if there is one) looking for loopholes that will send you deeper into inbox hell. No more setting up dummy Hotmail accounts “just in case.”

Again, if you don’t like the content, you can make it disappear as fast as you can change a TV channel. With just one click.

Pretty cool, huh?

That is cool! Umm… What the heck is RSS?

Alright! Now we’re ready to get to that part.

RSS is a simply an Internet technology standard that allows busy people to receive updates to web-based content of interest.

You might have figured that much out by now. But basically, that’s the essence of an RSS feed – you subscribe and then receive new content automatically in your feed reader.

If you actually want to know how RSS works, click here.

What the heck is a feed reader?

You may already be using a form of feed reader, and not even realize it. If you use personalized home page services like My Yahoo or My MSN, you’ve got RSS capabilities built in. That’s how syndicated content like news, weather and stock quotes appears on your personal page. You can also add content from any blog or other site that uses RSS to provide updates.

Other web-based tools are primarily dedicated to feed reading only. One of the most popular web-based feed readers at this point is Bloglines, and it’s also free and easy to get started with.

If you use the Firefox browser, you can also receive RSS feeds from your tool bar by using the Live Bookmarks function. The next version of Internet Explorer will add this feature as well.

Finally, there are desktop-based feed readers. These function somewhat like an email program for feeds. Examples include Newsgator and Feed Demon.

If it sounds complicated, it’s really not. And things will get even easier when the next version of Outlook integrates feed-reading capabilities. So, you’ll have the same convenience that email subscriptions offered in the old days, without any of the terrible consequences of giving out your email address to potentially unscrupulous characters.

Sounds good. So how do I subscribe to a Feed?

First of all, look for the subscription or feed options (some bloggers make this difficult for some odd reason). You might see a variety of buttons (amusingly called chicklets).

If the site you want to subscribe to uses FeedBurner to aid in the subscription process (like KMWF and many other popular sites), you’ll likely see the standard RSS icon, which takes you to a page that will give you an array of the most popular feed readers so you can select yours, and you’ll go from there. This is the new standard RSS icon:

Sometimes there will be a chicklet for your particular reader right on the blog that will take you to the appropriate subscription page. You may see these (among others):

Finally, you may also see little orange buttons that say XML or RSS. Often these chicklets will take you to a page that looks like code gibberish. In this case, you simply cut and paste the page URL from your browser window and manually paste it into your feed reader subscription box.

Hopefully this last method will soon disappear, never to be seen again.

In summary: RSS solves BIG problems.

So there you have it… RSS is being adopted at a phenomenal rate, because it’s a good thing for everyone.

The benefit to readers is obvious. And it’s good for publishers too, because we want to make sure that people feel comfortable subscribing, and that our message is not nuked by an overzealous spam filter.

The Tongue (Not The Pen) Is Mightier Than The Sword

"Reckless words pierce like a sword,
but the tongue of the wise brings healing."

It has been said that the pen is mightier than the sword... that you can do more to influence a man and move him with the written word than you can with the sword, which compels him to action only out of fear of affecting his livelihood.

With the right words, you can move people and persuade them that taking the course of action that you are suggesting is, in fact, a better way. With words, you can touch others at a deeper level and affect their emotions, their thoughts, and even their way of life.

But with the power and potential of words also comes much responsibility.

The same words that can be used to gently persuade and help others' well-being can also be used to manipulate and tear others down to get our own way. Words can be used to wound people in places that no sword can penetrate. A sword will cut through flesh, but words can cut through the heart. We've all felt the cutting of the heart that happens when people who we consider trustworthy say things that should never be said. Though they do not harm us physically, you can feel the pain even from a distance miles away.

With the same mouth, you have the ability to speak either blessings or curses. At first glance, you may think this point is trivial, but how many times have you been reluctant or insecure because of what someone else said about you? How many times have you been discouraged because others did not believe in you? How many of us don't feel good about ourselves because of the hurtful things that someone said to us?

Words have the power to either bless you or curse you.

The hurtful words continue to haunt us and every time we hear them or remember them, it cuts us again, like a fresh wound, and it never heals properly. And these wounds will continue to hurt us and we will feel victimized until the power of those words are broken.

And I'll tell you that without the grace of God, it is impossible.

There is still hope. Though we can't change how others have affected us and though we can't change how others use and manipulate words, we can resolve to use our words to bring healing and encouragement.

It is human nature to lash back and return the treatment we receive from others. And if we don't lash back at the person who offended us, we often lash back at those close to us, that we hold dear to our hearts. We don't mean to hurt them, but we end up hurting them because we ourselves are hurting.

And again, without the grace of God, without specifically asking God to give you this grace to forgive and not letting those words affect you, you will not be able to stop the cycle of receiving and lashing out in pain.

"He who seeks good finds goodwill,
but evil comes to him who searches for it."
- Proverbs 11:27

When we resolve to take the high road and use our words to build others up, even though we are unfairly treated, we will be blessed and find favor with both God and men. It may not happen immediately and it may not happen when we want it and when it's most convenient for us, but God promises that "he who seeks good finds goodwill." When we search for evil, or seek to "return the favor," God promises that evil will come back to you.

God's way is hard because it is unnatural and goes against everything that you see in this world. But I can't imagine trying to live any other way. If we don't live according to God's way, then according to whose ways are we living? God is good, kind, loving, merciful, and gentle with us... Who are you listening to and what are they like? What becomes of their ways and their lifestyle? Please consider deeply whose advice you are listening to and what kinds of things will come of that advice.

Why we never got out of the "Honeymoon Phase"

When I tell people that I am madly in love with my fiancee, people quite often look at me with a smile and almost brush me off, saying, "You're just in the honeymoon phase. Don't worry, trouble lies ahead..." as if it just happens and there is nothing you can do about it.

What people don't realize is that my fiancee and I have been courting for almost two years and we have only grown deeper and more madly in love with each other... and in our time together, we have NEVER once had a fight.

Are we just two little lovebirds who have no clue as to how the world works or how relationships are supposed to be? Are we just setting ourselves up for a harder fall when reality hits that not all is well? Am I just making this up and ignoring facts and reality?

The answer is a resounding, "No."

I've never understood why a couple would fight. If two people say that they love each other, then why would you want to hurt each other? That is what fighting means, to attempt to harm or gain power over another.

We truly love each other. And we have never fought because we choose to believe that the other would never willingly and intentionally try to hurt the ones they love.

This is what love is according to the Bible:

Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. Love does not demand its own way. Love is not irritable, and it keeps no record of when it has been wronged. It is never glad about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.
- 1 Corinthians 13:4-7

That is just one example where we will not allow our natural selves to ruin our relationship. Why would anyone try to hurt someone that they love*?

Back to the subject of discussion, we have vowed to one another that we will never allow ourselves become like all those "other couples" that believe that it is inevitable to lose the fire and passion in a relationship.

We almost have a sense of contempt for people who claim that they once were passionate and madly in love, but currently have no evidence that they ever were so because "that's just what happens." They just live with each other and share a common living space. They are basically roommates who are married legally. The thought of that just sends shivers down my spine. To go about living your life and sharing a bed with someone you once knew and dearly loved yet have no idea who she is anymore and she doesn't know you. There's just too much hurt, too much pain, too many fights that you've both become silent and just bear with one another.

I will tell you one thing, though, this stuff does "just happen." It is natural to just get comfortable with one another. And familiarity breeds contempt.

Family members are so comfortable with one another that they have no problem expressing exactly how they feel and letting the other "have it." And yet, when you meet someone new or someone you'd like to impress, you are on your best behavior and tolerate even the glaring faults of the other person.

I'm sure you remember when you first started going out, how madly in love you were with each other, how interested you were in the other person and what they had to say, how you could just sit across from each other staring into each others' eyes, how you could just spend hours telling each other how much you loved each other... and now you are so familiar that they are almost a complete stranger to you.

It IS natural and it does JUST happen. I have seen it in my own relationship but we were both quick to curtail it and resist those tendecies.

We have made the committment not to let such things happen and actually making time to be completely available to each other. It's easy to just get in the swing of everything else going on in your life and put your relationship on the backburner. You figure that you love them and they love you already and that that's enough and will keep the fire alive. Nope, you have to fan the flame and add more wood to the fire if you want to keep it burning. And that, my friends, takes WORK. And lots of it. Think about that analogy of keeping a fire going. It'll give you much insight.

Especially with guys, it is easy to "get the girl" and think everything is settled and everything is all right and then go on to the "next thing" you want to get done. Eventually, she will feel as though you care less and less about her and are more interested in whatever else you are doing than in her. Even though, to you, all is well and you know that you love her. You need to show her and express that love to her consistently and frequently. It is not enough to just know it in your head.

Our fire is going strong and we don't ever plan on letting that fire go out. But it is hard work! If you don't monitor your relationship carefully, it will start to slip into familiarity. Find ways to keep the fire going. Find ways to stay interested with each other. MAKE TIME to spend with each other and be FULLY there. And never let the sun go down while you are still angry (Ephesians 4:26). Communication is key!

I will end this with a quote that I learned from John Maxwell, "Yesterday ended last night!"

Never think that your relationship is set and that the past determines the present or the future. Whatever happiness or joys you shared yesterday were yesterday's joys and happiness. Make new ones for today. You can't hold on to "that one time" you did something spectacular or "that one time" you showed your love or that you already told her "I love you" yesterday. Yesterday ended last night. Today is a new day. Make it count. Keep the fire going.

* This is all assuming that love is proven. It is one thing to tell someone that you love them. It is totally another thing to truly show someone that you love them. Refer to 1 Cor 13:4-7 for the evidence of love. If one does not line up with what true love is, then perhaps they know not what love truly is.

Thanks for visiting our blogspot! Here, I will let you into my world and tell you all the reasons why I love what I do: the people.

In what other industry are you able to be a part of significant events? Where else do you always get to work with happy people who are excited? When else can you meet people and really get to know them and have a good time with them as they celebrate?

The wedding industry is the best place to be if you have a love for people and love being a part of one of the most significant events of their lives!

I really love what I do and being able to be a part of others' lives. I consider it a privilege to be able to follow a couple and capture precious memories of their most special day.

There is no other feeling like knowing you've caught on film something that would have been lost forever had I not been there at that place, in that moment in time. People constantly comment on how I am always smiling. It's because I know when I've caught a precious moment on film... a Kairos Moment, if you will.
